Dan is a seasoned executive and practical visionary with a passion for technology and how it can improve the lives of consumers. With over 20 years of experience on both the client and agency side, Dan became part of the Razorfish leadership team in the Atlanta office in 2014.
Razorfish operates at the intersection of marketing and technology, with the aim of helping brands and companies transform their businesses. Dan and his team are frequently called upon by clients to help them bridge their physical and digital worlds through engaging customer experiences that also produce new revenue streams. Major clients include Audi, AT&T, Delta, Bridgestone, and Kellogg’s, among others.
Dan is a steadfast source of thought leadership on digital experiences for leading publications such as MediaPost, Mobile Marketer, ClickZ and eMarketer. He also speaks at major industry conferences, including OMMA Global and OMMA mCommerce, MediaPost’s Mobile Insider Summit, Atlanta Interactive Marketing Association, Digital Atlanta, Atlanta Mobility Live, and MforMobile.
Prior to joining the agency world, Dan led mobile strategy and product development at The Home Depot, where he launched the iPhone, Android, Windows Phone 7 apps updated the mobile website. Dan spent nine years at BellSouth, Cingular and AT&T Mobility, on product development and product management for both mobile and broadband apps. Dan also has start-up experience from his days as a co-founder of Incanta. The turnkey broadband applications company raised $22M over three funding rounds.
Dan has a BA from Emory University, an MSc from the London School of Economics and an MBA from the University of Michigan. He has lived abroad three times in his life: Tehran, Iran (1975-1976); London, England (1990-1991); and Kagoshima, Japan (1992-1993).
Josh Waddell is Vice President of Solution Management and Innovation for SAP¹s mobile applications and mobile platforms. In this global role, he leads the widely-acclaimed Mobile Innovation Center, working with SAP customers, partners, and prospects to test and prove out new mobile innovations in the market, and then implement these in standard SAP mobile solutions. Josh and his team work across SAP¹s worldwide technology and mobile solution portfolio, helping SAP customers and partners to become better-run mobile enterprises.
Josh joined SAP in 2003, as a mobile technology consultant, and has since held key positions with SAP in pre-sales, operations, and mobile EcoSystem and Channels. During his tenure, Josh established SAP¹s first three co-innovation partnerships with BlackBerry, Sybase, and Syclo. Prior to joining SAP, Josh worked for several mobile start-ups, where he led an impressive series of successful product launches, acquisitions, and integrations.
Kashi Sehgal is Co-Founder & CEO of Gigabark, an integrated mobile solutions company rooted in phone and text messaging technology. Kashi is also Executive Director for SouthWiRED – one of the largest technology conferences in the Southeast.
Kashi serves as EVP of the Campus Community Partnership Foundation that hosts the Mentor Walk which aims to reduce the high school drop-out rate in Georgia through various awareness-building touch points. She is Co-Founder and Director of Partnerships for Music For Tomorrow which was launched to provide immediate financial assistance to jazz musicians affected by Hurricane Katrina and now provides economic opportunities for jazz musicians around the country.
After spending time as a Management Consultant at Accenture, she now works with select clients specializing in strategic planning, visioning, communications planning, and startup and non-profit strategy. Kashi is actively engaged in the Atlanta community serving on various boards such as WonderRoot, Georgia’s WIN List, Fulton County Career & Technical Education and WINGS for Kids and committees such as the Metro Atlanta Chamber’s Mobility Leadership Council, ChooseATL, Amplify 4 Good, and Lovett School’s Sustainability Committee.
Kashi is a native Atlantan. She graduated from The George Washington University with a degree in Psychology and minors in Communication and Music. She attended Georgia Tech for graduate school in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. She is a member of the 2013 LEAD Atlanta and LaunchPad2X classes and volunteers her time mentoring and with CARE, Acumen, and other organizations in her community.
